Welcome to Amish America


Throughout this video you will see the Amish way of Life and how Amish Religion shapes the lives of these people. You will visit Amish homes and historic recreations of Amish homes, witness Amish culture and see things that you have never seen before.

This new DVD is the first to feature the Old Order Amish of Amish America. It was seen on PBS TV stations and is now available for the first time in Dolby Surround Sound. This presentation is up close and personal. You will visit Amish homes and historic recreations of Amish homes and see things that you have never seen before. Of special interest is a home in Berne, Indiana where an Amish woman shows how she does laundry using "horsepower" and bakes for her family in a wood burning stove. Other highlights include exclusive on-camera interviews with several Amish. 

The Amish are doubling in population every 20 years and many outsiders are now joining. Special exclusive features available only on the dvd include 50 never before released royalty free original photos and music created by an Amish musician. This award winning DVD is in factory sealed packaging.

Amish & Mennonite Quilts Across America DVD


This hour long video gives a sweeping panorama of quilts and quilting in Amish America. Nowhere in America are quilts and quilting more alive than in Amish & Mennonite communities across America. 

This video covers Amish America from Lancaster, Pa. To Yoder, Kansas. Noted Author Rachel Pellman is featured in the museum she helped to create in Intercourse Pa. And Marilyn Woodin, in her quilt and textile museum in Kalona, Iowa. In between many Amish people, communities and quilt shops are shown.

Beachy Amish women are shown quilting in Berlin, Ohio and other Amish ladies display quilts at auction in Wisconsin. Seen on PBS stations this program is now available on video for home viewing.

Now for the first time all three Amish programs together and available on one dvd. Explore the life of the Amish as you have never seen them before as these programs take you into Amish America. 

"Program 1- "Welcome to Amish America" 
Is a chronological look at Indiana, Illinois, Michigan & Wisconsin. Hosted by Author John M. Zielinski & produced by Award Winning filmmaker John Swanson. This presentation is up close and personal with a hitch rail interview. 

Program 2- "Amish Buggies Across America"
Throughout this program you will see gray buggies, white buggies, yellow buggies, orange buggies and black buggy Amish. Each of these groups are different and distinct. You will visit Amish who believe it is absolutely sinful to have any tops on their buggies. 

Program 3- "Amish & Mennonite Quilts Across America"
